2. Summary

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, and has no contact form or user accounts. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain; no content is loaded from third-party servers. Personal data is processed only as described below: when the website is delivered to your browser, when you use the optional AI chat assistant, and when you email us.

3. Hosting and delivery

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical data in order to deliver it and protect it against attacks, in particular:

your IP address,
date and time of the request,
the page or file requested and the amount of data transferred,
the referring URL, and
your browser type, operating system and similar user-agent information.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and efficient delivery of this website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not keep these log data ourselves; Cloudflare retains them only as long as necessary for these purposes.

Data may be processed in the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Cloudflare’s data processing agreement incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

4. Contacting us by email

If you email us, we process the data you provide — typically your name, email address, the content of your message and any details about your organisation — to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

Emails sent to addresses at nidvi.com are received through Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc., see section 3) and forwarded to a mailbox hosted by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google LLC in the USA may also process data; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no longer needs to be kept, unless statutory retention obligations apply — for example, for business correspondence under German commercial and tax law.

5. AI chat assistant

The website offers an optional chat assistant that answers questions about Nidvi. It only runs when you open it and send a message. You are chatting with an AI system, not a person, and its answers may be inaccurate.

When you send a message, the text of your conversation is transmitted to our server and processed by an AI language model provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers AI, see section 3) to generate an answer. Technical data such as your IP address is processed as described in section 3. We do not store the conversations: they are kept only in your browser while the page is open and are discarded when you close or reload it. We do not use chat contents for analytics, profiling or advertising. According to Cloudflare, content processed through Workers AI is not used to train AI models.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in answering questions from visitors about our services, and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your question concerns a possible project. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under the data processing agreement described in section 3, including the safeguards for transfers to the USA.

Please do not enter sensitive personal data (such as health information) into the chat. If you would like to discuss a project in detail, email us at info@nidvi.com.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
have your data erased (Art. 17),
have processing restricted (Art. 18),
receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20), and
object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not store or read information on your device.
